What I'm curious about his how the hell they are managing to get him to sound so good on the new albums (Bat 3 and HCTB). I do a bit of home recording and sure with a bit of reverb / limiting / delay / pitch correction your voice does sound better but with Meat it just sounds like the vocal tracks were recorded 15 years ago. Have they got a time machine they are not telling us about? How can they do so much with ProTools?
Even the little clips Meat's PA posted on YouTube of him singing in the studio last summer sound nowhere near as good as how it sounds on the album.
When the vocals keep getting better on the album and getting worse live you lose a lot of credit with me. I'm sorry...
