Still think Terry Gilliam is one of the best directors out there. His masterpiece (for me) still is "Brazil" based on 1984.

I also like Jean-Pierre Jeunet & Marc Caro - La cité des enfants perdus, Delicatessen.

Tim Burton is amongst my favs too.

I still think Robert de Niro is highly overrated. So is Nicolas Cage. To me both of them play the same role with the same face over and over again...

Special movie I like comes to mind: Sideways - really loved this.

Of course there are many other movies I find highly entertaining but those came to mind immediately right now.
