Jim seems to abandon things. Was he behind those changes for the Hamburg "Tanz" production? I heard there were other ones in place for Berlin and the concert? Was he behind any of those? He hasn't been seen at any of the premieres of "Tanz" since Stuttgart, so I'm told, probably because he had the wind in his sails knocked out of him thanks to Broadway.
Also, he hasn't really said anything about "Whistle" since, sheesh, 1998 publicity surrounding the London show. What else?
I know Ray has two new lyrics for "The Confidence Man" but I doubt if Jim knows about those. Then again, that wouldn't entirely be his fault.
Then you have Meat Loaf and the whole BAT III / TMIL debacle. What really REALLY happened there? We know Jim turned down the biggest producing deal in the history of the business, Meat and Jim said so themselves, but the exact reasons for this we weren't exactly told. Or maybe we were? I don't remember. Maybe it was because Meat was an asshole tho?
I've heard Lloyd Webber is a prick as well. Hmmm...
Well, whatever the case, it just seems like JD and others are reporting things that have to do with Jim but that he's not personally involved with as far as we can see. The real stuff Jim's involved with, hopefully we'll be hearing a LOT about that in the months to come.
