I'll answer your last question first as its the most Jim related and say that to make a film with Jim's songs in them would be a dream come true. It would be such an awesome way to get his music across to a wider audience. I've had a few idea's on how a bat out of hell movie might work out (the first mostly ). If I was put on this earth to make anything I'm pretty sure a musical with Jim's music is it.

Bat out hell to me plays like a series of short films but are all set in the same world, much like Sin City or Pulp Fiction.

Its a shame that "Bikers" has yet to materialise, sounded like a cool concept and very "Jim" like.

I had heard that someone was making a musical with Jim's songs exclusively, but didn't know it was the screen writer of the "Pirate..." films. Perhaps the musical might re-ignite interest in it.

I would love one day to be the head writer of Doctor Who, doubt it will happen though as I think my style doesn't really suit it and besides, its in pretty good hands now, not that it wasn't before, just thought the previous writer tried to hard to cram a message down the viewers throat.

If I'm not mistaken Jim directed the video for Bonnie's "If you were a woman and I was a man". He didnt do a bad job with it, shame he never directed a video for a better song.
