But alas, my judgement and your theories prevented all that Btw. who was the person who gave it to you? I only ever, FOR THE RECORD HERE PEOPLE, gave it to two people in the most strictest of confidence. One of those people knows you quite well and the other one is a friend of mine who I asked to do the arrangements for the cabaret. But he says he didn't do it and knows nothing about any of this. So... Unless one of those people distributed it to an outside source. FOR THE RECORD AGAIN, I gave it to one other person so they could look at it for the arrangements for a new version. It was strictly said that under no condition was the confidence surrounding this exchange to be VIOLATED. I gave it to you strictly as a reward for all you'd given me, with the understanding that no harm would be done if it remained under strict confidence. If you want to reward someone who's deserving you show them this track, I think, especially since they sounded so intrigued with it. The only other person was again for the same reason as you. You could have just asked me if you wanted to put it up, so I could have asked Ray and gotten his full blessings and support. Most likely he would have agreed to it, I'd imagine, on the basis that the song does deserve exposure after all these years. But I wanted to wait for Jacinta's version. But anyway if it had been done that way maybe some decent reviews could have been garnered instead of all this controversy. | |
