It's 10 years since I've seen the film now but I can remember what I didn't like. These little kids locked Cole Sears in some sort of room inside a wall and there was this horrible laugh coming from inside. That was freaky. And the scene with the shot of the passage and the ghost abruptly appearing, then later confronting Cole when he was in the kitchen and showed him her slashed wrists. When you think of the kind of pain that ghost must be experiencing in the afterlife, it's so chilling. And, of course, the little boy ghost with the hole in the back of his head. It seemed so normal at first and then... I jumped. To this day, I still sleep with my bedroom door closed because of that film. | |
