Choosing the Chrysler Building (my favourite building in the world) to be sticking out of the cloudy flames (fits right in with Jim's vision of a post-apocalyptic Obsidian) and having the giant bat perched on the top of the Chrysler building, doing a King Kong while holding the beautiful angel and meanwhile the hero is coming at the giant bat on his motorcycle. This has to be my favourite Jim album cover of all time. I wonder if it should be the poster for the musical. Bat 1 is close behind but I think that Bat 2 is best. Its interesting to see it as a work of art when the words are removed. | |
