Agreed. To call the Boss's present voice 'passable' is ridiculous. I'm currently thinking of the falsetto voice that he breaks out at the end of The River sometimes, which is haunting and brilliant.

I was at that Hyde Park show and I thought his voice was just fine. And with Bruce, that's all it really needs to be. It's all about the E Street band: the way they play together, the musicianship- it's about experiencing the greatest band on the planet. It's not all about his voice, whereas at a Meat Loaf show it's ALL about his voice. People go to a Meat show to hear his bombastic voice belt out Steintunes, whereas people don't go to see Bruce because of his voice.
