It might have had a better chance if Jim had been able to do the vocals for "Rock And Roll Dreams", which is, in my opinion, a more mainstream song than "Dance In My Pants", which Jim did sing and made a video for.

Some people on this forum have said that Jim doesn't have the vocal range for "Rock And Roll Dreams" but I'm not sure about that.

Meat has said that but he also made a solemn promise never to work on a Bat album without Jim. Also, he fought for Jim to have his name on the BOOH album but he allowed the record company to make his name the bigger brand name that sold the album (its a shame that "Meat Loaf" wasn't a band with Marvin Aday and Jim Steinman being like John Lennon and Paul McCartney or Mick Jagger and Keith Richards).
