My personal experience is that Jim is a very humble man. He is shy and can keep to himself, but sometimes erupts with energy, the time's that I've met him he's been incredibly kind, honest, and down to earth. His memory is amazing... the first time i met him he knew where I was from, even mentioned my dog, and asked about my interesting women issues....

This is why i love it when Jim blogs or writes about Movies, Baseball, and his "Idols".... he is as obsessive, passionate and human as we are... he mentions on facebook how he had opportunities to meet some of his Idols but passed on it because he was nervous. He re

It is funny because his music has helped me though some dark times in my life, but by chance it seems that during my darkest and most alone times, are the times that he's been there for me in person. I talked to him about issues i've had w/ an Obese ex-Business partner (to which he of course had a witty response), an hot asian ex roommate sex goddess slut,(another witty remark), and a horrible break-up that followed with me being removed from Joe's pub w/ and ambulance, firetrucks, and police... which the next day triggered yet another witty remark. His advice, lyrics, and attitude have helped me incredibly, and he ranks up there w/ my Aunt, and Dad as one of the most influential people in my life.

One of the greatest memories I have of talking w/ Jim was one of the nights at Mohegan Sun. For some reason we got talking about Elton John, Jim is a big fan, I told him that "Rude Awakening" sounded like an Elton song to me... he was kinda shocked and said "Not my Rude Awakening?" when i told him YES! I could totally hear Elton singing it in my mind... he thanked me and told me i was just being kind... but he then went on to express an idea he had about re-doing Holding Out For A Hero in Elton John type arrangement... he then using his hands and feet, playing the invisible piano, sung to me the new arrangement.. that moment was such an amazing glimpse at Jim's humbleness and brilliance. The relationship and business advice that he gave me (which he preceded with "people should never take my advice") helped carried me to where I am today, and proved to me that this is a rare exception where THE REAL THING IS AS BEAUTIFUL AS THE REFLECTION THAT CAME FIRST!

Hope This Helps!
