Wow, all these responses seem to be confirming the image of Jim that I aldready had in my head, he seems humbled and grateful to be a part of some body's life through his music. This for me, is what makes Jim Steinman my hero, because as I understand it, he feels privileged to be a part of my, and everyone elses life on and beyond this board through his awesome music. Now that all of you have confirmed this for me, I now know I would love to meet Jim in real life, as he seems just as much the magical and awesome person I imagined him to be. I'd love to talk about how his songs have rescued from depths of despair, made me feel unbelievably happy, and sometimes in just being enthralled by a song's story. The other night when listening to his demo for "We're still the Children" and I was nearly welling up, I'd listened to that song a million times before and yet that time found something new about it that had me close to tears. That's the most awesome thing about Jim's music, there's always something magic, there's always something new.

Apologies for the sappiness of this message, its just....Its Jim ya know

My personal experience is that Jim is a very humble man.
