The genesis website has been relaunched recently, and now the content is available only t those who pay a membership fee of US$35.
They sent me an email about how exciting it was that there is a new site up, but actually it's just a lot of stuff we all used to get for free (given as it it's just a bunch of people who give a shit sitting around chatting to each other on a pre-fab message board template) that now we have to pay thru the fucking nose to access.
Do they, and every other half-arsed artist website that does the same thing, EXPECT a good response for this crap? Because a much more realistic expectation would be for me to stop waiting for the Lamb Lies Down On Broadway re-release (it's original realease date was over 3 years ago now, and it's been pushed back and back and back ever since) and lose any slight trace of interest I once had.
Anyone who claims to 'work' in marketing should be hanged from a tree and shot, then run over with a buick. Powers that be have literally no idea.
