| Eh? "I have travelled across the universe through the years to find her. I'd do anything for love but I won't do that". This makes no sense whatsoever. It only makes sense if you amend the first sentence to I HAVEN'T travelled etc. And, if you do that, then the song and the video lose all meaning. You're saying, meh - she's nothing special, so this 8 minute epic of a song is kinda not worth singing in the first place. Jim's songs are all about going to extremes. Searching across the universe for a bit of skirt fits in perfectly with his vision. Going all the way being only the start also fits in with Jim's vision. Saying - "nah, I can't be arsed" doesn't. | |
