The opening words in AFL are nothing more than fictional. Comparing it to real life human emotions and actions just isn't possible. Especially when you look at the video and see the woman he's been chasing through the years. She's attractive and sexy but not worth the time effort, especially when you have a job to do and bills to pay. In fantasy land it's fantastic though, and that's why I love it. > Jim's songs are all about going to extremes. Searching > across the universe for a bit of skirt fits in perfectly > with his vision. Going all the way being only the start > also fits in with Jim's vision. Saying - "nah, I can't be > arsed" doesn't. Jim's vision is great and I love it, and I can relate to so much of his stuff. That's why he's my hero. But I'm just saying I can't relate to his text at the start of AFL, because I know it's nothing more than fictional fantasy and even still it doesn't make any sense. Sorry but that's just me. | |
