| Don't get me wrong, if it is anything other than Jim Steinman's baby then it shouldn't be called Bat 3 should it. That would be like me recording Bad Attitude 2. But my point is that to bitch about Dianne Warren and James Michael is throwing the baby out with the bathwater. NEITHER of them are the reason TMiL is awful. That falls ENTIRELY to Desmond Child, and to Meat for bringing him in and giving him free slather. And nah Los Angeloser was a pre-existing solo James Michael song that Meat covered. And the difference really shows right? James Michael is a great songwriter I just don't understand why he made Teddy Bear the way he did. If he was feeling disillusioned by TMiL, then he should have gone back to the bits that worked on Couldn't Have Said It Better and made the album he should have instead of inviting in Desmond to piss all over everything: James Michael writing it, his band playing it, Mokran producing it. > > > > I really like the stuff James Michael has written for > > Meat.
