Oh, I don't mind it. It's the bridge that gets my attention. Is that supposed to be the ruins of the Golden Gate Bridge? But yeah, having looked at the other versions of the art, the final bat (LOL) seems incongruous with the rest of it. And also, the motorcyclist in the sky clashes with the figure on the bridge. It's a little busy.

But I definitely absolutely undeniably prefer it to TMIL, and the MSO cover which looks like a bootleg! Ugh! They just used the basic image and threw a flaming orchestra on top of it with a couple towers from clipart!

COMIC BOOK GUY: Worst. Meat Loaf. Cover art. Ever!

Even when I heard that there were going to be other songwriters involved, I was still waiting to see what the cover art would be like. I remember this specifically. I was at a computer in a public library. I checked Meat's forum. And there it was. And I couldn't believe it. I thought one of the fans must have drawn it.

Completely disappointed. It's a mess. It's inconsistent. The motorcyclist has a Samurai sword. There are columns from a temple in Ancient Greece. The angel in the corner set back the feminist movement a couple decades lol...

It's a load of trash, if you ask me. I cringe when I see it next to the other two. "Hang Cool Teddy Bear" was an improvement though. I didn't mind that.

I agree.
