Jim won't even acknowledge the existance of Bat 3. > Most show posters are quite clean and uncluttered, with > emphasis on a large title. This is true. I like the work that Cameron Mackintosh did with Dewynters for "Phantom", "Cats" and "Les Miz". > I envisage a large angry Bat (similar to Bat 3) with 'Bat > Out of Hell' tattooed across it's wings. I can see that. > But then does a Bat have anything to do with the show? Some people ask that question. Or they ask if Neverland has anything to do with a Bat. The other way round. I think they are connected but its difficult to explain. > Should references to Peter Pan be on the poster? Is Peter > Pan still relevant to the story? Is Obsidian an > apocalyptic NYC? Should there be a motorbike somewhere? Peter Pan is the story. Obsidian is a future NY but some people don't like the apocalyptic bit. I'm not sure why. I love it. It helps to make this Peter Pan or Neverland unique. The Obsidan concept and the music will result in a completely different Peter Pan. Hopefully the best Peter Pan ever. > Whoever the designer is, will have a tough job (if it > hasn't been finished already). The designer has a very difficult job. He has to turn Jim's wonderful imagination into reality on stage. | |
