Cliff was fine in Heathcliff the musical and he has done a lot of great songs over the years but i don't think he would be a good fit for RARDCT.
Yes Heathcliff did very well but that was due to the huge amount of cliff fans who went.
Take cliff out and the show doesn't do as well at the box office probably.
So unless cliff was in the BOOH musical then its not really a draw point for his fans..
You are right though that if cliff did record a song it may well be a hit due to the size his loyal fanbase and it would give the show some publicity but would that translate into ticket sales?
Those of us who were born before BOOH came out and have lived with it for our whole lives don't need to be sold the idea as much as people who were born post 1990.
