An album that went platinum 12 times in America alone. I am still trying to find out exactly what happened and if anyone in the Jim community knows what happened I would appreciate them posting about it. Jim and the band fell out and he was replaced by Mutt Lange. Apparently Jim recorded them warming up and told them that just that would do. During the Classic Albums Hysteria documentary, one of the guitarists said that they had to sell two million albums "just to pay Steinman's fee". However, all of this is the story from Def Leppard's point of view. I would be very interested to hear Jim's side of the story. | |
