Would Heavenly Creatures make a good musical? I loved the film, even though the horror part is a bit difficult to take. It's not really a horror film but the last part would have made Hitchcock jealous. And it really happened. It's a true story. I couldn't stop thinking about the poor mother and also the relationship between the two girls which led to the murder. Actually, I think I watched it because you recommended it in a post years ago now. I think we had a really long film thread going. So I thank you for that because it really is an amazing film from start to finish. Peter Jackson is a wonderful director and Kate Winslet plays one of the girls in her first film role. It was probably that role which brought her to the attention of Titanic director James Cameron (my favourite film ever).
