I know exactly what you mean. I did a lot of reading on the case after I watched it. I've always liked this site as well: Fourth World - The Heavenly Creatures Website (see URL.) Also, if you haven't checked it out, watch Anne Perry Interiors, which is a documentary on Juliet who is now the famous novelist Anne Perry. That's a good companion piece, and the closest I get to "What happened next...?" The Fourth World site by the way explains all of the things that happened next as well. I would have liked to have seen what happened next somehow as a movie, but Peter Jackson did not have to show us that, as it wasn't part of the story that he was telling.

I love it. I don't watch it all that much though, probably once a year, because of that scene.

It could have done. By the way, I read a story once about Anne Perry signing books and nearby was a poster of Kate Winslet as Rose in "Titanic".
