BTW, if they remade Wizard from the original source material, how different would it be from the Judy Garland version? Would it be more scary? When I was a kid, I absolutely loved Wizard (I still do but it's different now). Then it had horror movie elements for me. I was scared of the horrible lady who tries to kidnap Toto. I felt awful for Toto until he escaped. I was scared by the tornado. Also, by the Wicked Witch Of The West and the flying monkeys. When Dorothy melts the Wicked Witch with water, I found her sinking into the floor to be scary and for a brief moment I thought the guards were going to attack Dorothy. But yet I was transfixed. Every time I saw it. My one regret is seeing it only on TV and not in a cinema. > I am not sure how different Carrie is from the > > novel. Do you know? What was the fire destruction scene like in Carrie The Musical, I wonder. What is this new musical Stephen King is doing with John Mellencamp about? Someone told me they are working on it together but I don't know the plot. I shall Google. | |
