I know what you mean. But if they were going to make a new version, then they could have gone back to the original book and used things that hadn't been used the first time.

They have a chance the second time to make them closer to the original books. But also, I hope they do their own thing. I don't want a remake of the Jack Nicholson version of "The Shining". Adapt the book again. I don't want a remake of the MGM "Wizard of Oz" either (I don't know how many people would...) Adapt the book again.

I've forgotten mostly. I think there was something about Carrie wreaking destruction on half the town afterward? NOW THAT COULD HAVE BEEN SHOWN IN THE NEW VERSION!

I know that Brian De Palma changed the name of
