Previewing a show in the largest theatre in London's West End *before* taking it to Toronto... the strangest theatrical strategy I've heard for a while.

London is finding it very hard to fill its large theatres at the moment, so I can't see the Coliseum as being a very sensible, or required, choice.

And using the West End, one of the world's two theatrical capitals as a testing ground doesn't make much more sense either.
