Why? Surely the best thing to do is select thee best version of a no matter where it's from, otherwise if Meat has an off night in London then you don't want it on DVD, because then you'd be watching crap.
If it was going to be a one off spectacular then you have to accept warts and all, but if you the luxury of acquiring the best takes from various shows, irrespective of where they're from, then you'd do that. What you've suggested for me, is just nonsense.
