We are learning more about the situtation now.
#1) The Gun WAS OBTAINED ILLEGALLY
#2) The Serial number was filed down - indicates some sort of premeditated crime. #2 he wasn't a US resident and unable to obtain a handgun legally.
over the next week i'm sure we'll learn much more. But its obvious that gun control couldn't of stopped this guy.
