Ha! Gotta love liner notes and press kits that say what the artist in question is upto next, always makes for interesting reading years after the fact. An ELO Part II album produced by Jim is not actually as left field as it sounds, given as New York backing vocalist Eric Troyer (who is on Dead Ringer, and Bad for Good, and did he tour with Meat or perform on Original Sin?) was the lead singer of ELO part 2 along with Kelly Groucutt (who was the bassist in ELO, ie the REAL ELO with Jeff Lynne). So it'd be Jim with an orchestra, fairly competent studio musicians and a studio vocalist that loosely formed part of his stable. The only real question mark would be over it still carrying the ELO moniker once Jim had turned it into a "Fire Inc. Part 2" kind of situation. > > > > I presume you mean ELO part 2? > > > > How and why is an ELO Part 2 gig from 1990 documented in > > the liner notes of a jim Steinman LP from 1989?
