Agree with 3: sometimes it's better to come out with the finished products first, and maybe release significant demos later. (So that you can get a view how the song evolved)
I have my reservation on 2 though. Nowadays, you can use the internet and free mp3s as a marketing tool.
And on point 1: after spending some time with Rink in Budapest, I can only say that he seems to be a nice guy who knows is stuff. That said, I have to say that to me, it seems like things are moving at a glacial speed.
