That said, I have to say that to me, > it seems like things are moving at a glacial speed. Just based on what fans from this board say, RINKOFF has a personality that is like Prince Charming x 10, and he could probably sell a broken popsicle to an Eskimo-Steinman-fan during a snowstorm. No matter how badly his project is floundering, Steinfans who meet him in person will always walk away under his magic spell, convinced that there might be big things just around the corner and that Prince Charming has got it all under control and planned out. I hear he has been buying them drinks so they'll get a bit tipsy before he works his Game on them. I hear he even brings them up to his hotel room for God Knows What... So far, his Charming Personality, his Very Handsome Features, his Tall Stature and his Beautiful Eyes may have left Steinman-fans swooning. But they have not amounted to any real accomplishment in developing a show or performance group of Jim's music. Prince Charming still has not uploaded soundboards from his tiny "concerts". I begin to suspect he only promised the soundboard mp3s to seduce the Steinman-fans into not bringing their recording devices. Meanwhile, fans with crappy recording devices have done more to distribute Steinman's music than Prince Charming has. As far as I'm concerned The Dream Engine does not really exist in any meaningful sense, except on the internet and in the mind of Prince Charming. If Prince Charming doesn't like having internet fans post that, it's up to him to prove me wrong. TDE is two shows, the big show consists of his websites and in-person interactions designed to charm you into thinking something big is happening. The other show, the real one, is tiny, low-budget and rare and happens in something called "Joe's Pub". Beware of Prince Charming's magic spell and of his constant mind games. This guy knows how the game is played. | |
