I hear no difference between the beauty (or whatever) of the tunes for "No Matter What" and "Not Allowed To Love". I think they function on similar levels, based on the pop/dance mix (The original would only work as an Adult Contemporary song.) And they both seem to have an underlying message about people's freedom.
