I really prefer the 'grittier' sound of of Bat out of Hell compared to Back into hell.
I don't know why but its seems like it has more raw energy to it. Bat 2 seemed a little too 'polished' for my taste.
Also, again I don't know why, it seemed like in Bat 2 they didn't have complete controle over the music. Its sounded alot more thrashier than operatic. Bat 1 is just filled with rock-opera.
The only song off of Bat 2 ,to me, which would fit perfectly on Bat 1 is probably 'Everything Louder than Everything Else'. That song is just loaded with Rundgren.
Just as a side note, I also think that 'Out of the Frying Pan' is WAY too repetative (spelling??). Even though I love the song!!
Any thoughts??
