yeah, that GoPhone commercial is the best he's sounded in years. I haven't seen it since that first time, but I remember thinking / commenting at the time that a frigging mobile phone ad got a better vocal performance than his last 4 albums (inc 3 Bats and Live with the MSO. The latter being the worst steaming pile of shite I've ever heard).

So sure, I can't wait for Bull In A China Shop. I hope it's 70 minutes long, and has a cheesy concept, one or two Diane Warren numbers and a Steinman Cover, and I hope desmond Child is no frigging where to be seen. And I hope Meat finally collaborates with Steve Lukather like he's been saying recently that he'd like to (Lukather really would have been a better fit on TMiL than Brian May or that Cuban Guy. Well... BOTH of the Cuban Guys actually :o) Or Rusty Anderson, or the guy who laid down that boring as shit solo on It's All Coming Back).

Whether or not this has anything to do with the recent surgery which I was unaware of, dunno. Was the surgery before or after Three bats? cause that blew chunks. But Meat live always will these days. He should stick to the studio, as long as he puts a little more effort into the vocal takes than on TMiL.

And while I'm here -- thanks to RadioMaster and whoever else for replying to my rant about that Welsh guy who did a crappy version of Anything for Love on Young Talent Time. I've forgotten his name in the time it took me write this long winded post!!
