I can't listen to it. It still could have been a good album with (just) Steinman covers and Rundgren producing but the Desmond Child sound is all wrong. It's white-wash. It grates on your ears like someone's scraping their hands on a blackboard. It's almost too hard to describe but you know what I mean. It's like everything is at the same volume, the same pitch or whatever, and there's no variance. It all sounds like a blur meets the bad side of the 1990s (i.e. Bon Jovi, Hootie and the Blowfish, Matchbox 20. They all bore me to tears.)

CHSIB, on the other hand, I enjoy as much as WTTN.
