I posted an article on my blog where Mark Dendy (choreographer) in a recent interview said his next project was going to be a "London stage adaptation of Meat Loaf's iconic 1977 concept album "Bat Out of Hell," which is aiming for a 2010 opening". I don't know if the 2010 is a typo or what, I hope not.
The way I read JD's comments was, stage can go to film but film can't go to stage. If the Bat musical went to film first then it would be difficult for it to go to stage afterwards, however if it went to stage first then making a fikm afterwards wouldn't be a problem.
