| Seconded, but that's not what Ryan was asking. He was asking what you would think of Crawford, playing it straight, as the Joker. I think it COULD work, but it would take a lot of reining in. Another thing I thought of was that if Crawford wanted a comic role from Tanz, why didn't he take Abronsius? The absent-minded professor! The comic centerpiece of the show! Even has a funny accent in most productions! And a song with a showboat high note!
