One poster has told me that he won't post here when nasty stuff is going on. He likes the way things are at the moment. But the banned ones could come back if they have a new attitude of not putting people down. Why not? Its possible. If they get in the mood for hateful posts, they can get it out of their systems over on Dave's board. I haven't been over there for weeks (so maybe it is different now) but it was not the place to discuss the show that it is meant to be. It seemed to be a place for hate messages - most of them directed at me (even though the rules of the forum state that hateful posts will not be tolerated). I am very pleased that Ryan has announced that any hateful or insulting posts on his new forum will be immediatey removed. I would not want to call for anyone who has been banned to be banned again but it would be nice if any hateful or insulting posts could be removed. Although, at the end of the day, its JD's board and I think I can trust her to do the right thing. There is a great difference between one of Dave's jokes and a hate post but of course JD is fully aware of that. Also, if some banned posters are to be allowed to return, then surely there should be a general amnesty, so that all banned posters can return. Especially when some of the banned posters who are unlikely to return were never as nasty as some of those who are likely to return. | |
