Do you think Meat realizes the mistake he made? Things seem a lot more positive now with the new album coming out and I think it may even lead to another comeback. Here's hoping. TMIL was a dark chapter and I think a lot of people will always struggle to describe their disappointment when Meat could have done Bat 3 with Jim and recorded "Body" and "Still The Children". Talk about one of the biggest missed opportunities ever... Like how Jim could have written the lyrics for "Phantom Of The Opera". > There's this quote from Jim's blog: > > The only words that crossed my mind a lot during the CD > were: DYNAMICS; HUMOR; SPOKEN WORD, PIANO THUNDER and > OPERATIC POWER. I missed those, but I "like" the album. I > wish Meat luck with it. > > Obviously a backhanded compliment, since I seem to > remember him saying at some point that he wasn't allowed > to say anything bad about the album. Here he seems to be > saying "yeah, it's missing pretty much everything, but > it's good." Note the quotation marks he put around "like." > LOL > > > You would think that Jim could have made some critical > > remark about Bat 3 but he didn't, did he? | |
