If I remember Smeg was pretty close to certain that the intent behind the musical was to complete the Neverland project. I never saw the evidence, but Smeg's usually correct about this stuff. Perhaps the amount of recycling used in recent years had driven him to the point where he couldn't even see the possibility that Jim would do anything more than simply recycle the Neverland concept in its entirety if given the chance.
