Jim as a script writer

As a writer, I am influenced and inspired by many /authors/Screen Writers, but none have inspired me as much Jim has. Now, I'm not a lover of music overall, I find alot of it over personal and songwriters tend to want to blab on about themselves rather then make something that's entertaining but the reason why I love Jim's Music is becuase he is the exact opposite of this. His songs all form a coherent narrative, feature a main character who's personality is fully fleshed out through the lyrics ( Which backs his comments he made in his blog a while back about lyrics being dialogue) and alot of the time the characters seem to have grown in some form or another, if he can achieve this in a SONG!!!! then why has Jim not turned his talents to film and tv. Imagine if I were giving the money and the creative freedom to make a film? I know I'd pay good money to see it.
