I read this and thought the same thing. Iovine & Jim go back years, to I think the mixing of Bat 1, and probably because Iovine engineered Born To Run. Iovine was also in charge of (the music for) Streets Of Fire, and got Jim to contribute. I've said for ages that AI could do a Steinman guest judge night, but who knows whether they would, or Jim would want to? If he can, I think Jim should do the odd project to promote his name (again), prior to the Bat musical (whenever that will happen). I think 'Body...' would be great for Adam Lambert's next album, or 'Safe Sex' for Pixie Lott's next album (managed by Sonenberg). Would also love to see a (final) Meat Loaf project. | |
