I look at it this way. Alfred Hitchcock never won an Oscar. And "Bat out of Hell" and "Psycho" are both pure magnificence, need I say it for the hundredth time. I'm not just MOVED by a lot of Diane Warren's work. "I don't want to miss a thing" is probably the one song that moves me, and even the songs she wrote for "Welcome to the Neighbourhood", but I felt as though she was impersonating Jim's work because the record company thought that was what would sell more albumn, sigh... (Remember what Meat Loaf said about moulds in "To Hell and Back"... and I'm almost positive I haven't got the spelling correct either, mould I mean.) | |
