I really like the stuff James Michael has written for Meat. Keep in mind he didn't write that Los Angeloser thing for Meat… Meat just covered it after the fact.
CHSIB, Did I Say That, Blind As A Bat are all great, and are written for Meat's current voice and timbre really well.
If Meat had done Bat out of Hell 3 with JUST James Michael writing and Peter Mokran producing then I have no doubt it would have been nothing short of great… and I don't mind the odd one being thrown in by Dianne Warren either. Cry Over Me is FAR from the lowpoint of TMiL.
If this next album is something as focussed as that then I'm sure I'll like it. But if it is as unfocussed and all over the map as his last two pieces of crap then I won't bother buying this one either. Which is sad.
