That's what I'm curious about. I used to think I could hear Meat Loaf humming at the very start of Jim's "Rock and roll dreams".

Maybe he wanted to record these songs but Jim said, "why don't we save it for Bat 2?"

I remember reading once that they started talking about Bat 2 in 1984! Wish I could find the link for that.

Again, I remember reading once that Jim recommended "Martha" to Meat Loaf.

I don't know of anything else, but (and you're most likely going to disagree with this) I think "Who needs the young?" should have been on Bat 1.
