I have already indicated that my line does not appear on any "full" list. There are categories in such list, like people who are in the various generations, and how many in each one. Apparently there are documented around 300 great-great-grandchildren of Queen Victoria, but my family's undocumented status brings that total to several higher. I am a direct descendant, and am a Princess not in the British realm as such owing to the transfer of sovereignty. I am a princess of Russia. To the extent that fifth generation from a reigning monarch in Great Britain applies to the title of nobility, mine is neither documented nor certified by the Queen, and to the extent automatic I would be proffered the title of Lady. Lord Mountbatten, a cousin of my grandfather's, spoke on camera, in a documentary interview concerning the alleged death of my grandfather, with information that was at best unreliable and at worst definitely not true. However, the Lord had no other information source approaching him at the time. | |
