| Please don't give up on the board - there are still a lot of posters on here who actually want to talk about Jim Steinman. I ducked out before 'Bat 3' and didn't even bother to read Rockman for 6 months because I knew what it would be like, and there would be very little chance for honest, unbiased appraisal to survive the hysterical shouting down of certain posters. Even though since I've come back there has been an unusual amount of bitching and petty arguements, it's still been worthwhile 'cos every now and then you find something amoungst the Susan-baiting that really makes you think. If more of us post that sort of stuff, then maybe we can claim the board back and make it what it should be. It's a shame that Smeg and Pud are basically destroying the board for everyone else, especially because they have both offered (and continue to offer) so much to the community in terms of sharing Jim's music. Sadly, if the price of those treasures is accepting that Rockman has to be run on their terms and theirs alone, then I think I'd rather do without. | |
