| Land of the Pig is not one of my favorite songs but I totally prefer Robs version. His voice is amazing but his version of the song makes a lot more sense. Meat's is more like a thrash version. The song I hate most on TMIL (of the Steinman songs) is Future...but I'm such a huge fan of the Pandora's Box version. Actually, now that I've typed that...Bad For Good is my least favorite. I was hoping that song would nver be covered and remain Jim's. Anyway...thanks for the post and you're right - there's no reason there should be a flame war for expression an opinion. xxx JD > Been listening to TMIL again lately (well, someone has > to!) and I have to say that I absolutely love Meat's > version of this song. Hopefully the whole 'Bat > 3' saga is sufficently long ago and faraway that we can > share our opinions on the Stein-songs on the album without > having a flaming war. | |
