| His real problem isn't even that Meat Loaf would be involved, it's that he assumes Meat's fans wouldn't be interested. Point of fact, when he compares it to Jim's other show and Crawford's fans, it's a bad comparison. With DOTV starring Michael Crawford, it was attracting an audience that was guaranteed not to like Jim's music. They're "old blue haired ladies" as he puts it, it's not the style that immediately springs to mind as them liking it. Then there's the BAT musical, which is an entirely different story. The title is associated with Meat Loaf, it consists mainly of songs heard on Meat Loaf albums, and Meat Loaf's fans have obviously acquired a taste for Jim's music. He thinks they're just like Crawford's fans, and they won't like it if Meat doesn't sing it. Maybe they won't like it as much, but nine out of every ten people who buy a ticket will be thinking of Meat, not Jim, and that's a fact of life we as Steinman fans will have to deal with. > Puddings just fucking punch him in the face, he does not > get it.
