Here's one way to look at this: Calling Smeg "Jim's bitch" is not inducing him to forgive Meat any more than he already is. He's obviously set in his ways about this and has been since it was announced that Jim would not be writing the full album. And he's also obviously not going to change his mind any time soon; no amount of attempts to convince will help.
So live and let live. Smeg thinks Meat's an asshole, you think Smeg's an ass-kisser. Opinions are like assholes, everyone has one, let it go (just like you exhort him to do).
