| You can leave out the allegedly. Night Castle won't be a Christmas album, and should be out summer 2009. The song Night Enchanted was a free download on Amazon a couple of weeks ago, and can still be heard on their MySpace*. As for TSO in general: just give me back Savatage. I don't buy the whole "Savatage is TSO now" schtick. Sure, Savatage's "Dead Winter Dead" (with 'Sarajevo 12/24') and "The Wake of Magellan" have some TSO-ness, but as a whole, they have more metal and edge. And that's something TSO doesn't have. Edge. Those Christmas albums are as smooth as anything that's been polished until it shines. Beethoven has some edge (and is indeed so much better), but doesn't rock as hard as Savatage. TSO East has three Savatage members plus Alex Skolnick who played the solo's on "Handful of Rain" and Robert Kinkel who was involved in every album since "Hall of the Mountain King". But according to every account, a Sava-reunion isn't up to them. Some O'Neill guy seems to be holding the strings... * (just run the myspace url through this website) > Their next album isn't a xmas album allegedly.
