And I'd refuse a copy of Meat's version (which is worse) because it's nowhere near as good as Elaine's version. What's the point in having an inferior version? I can say this without being negative towards Celine - she's a very good singer. She just doesn't do emotion.

No, I didn't. You need to read the entire sentence and not just the part you selectively quoted. I said that it was unsurprising that people preferred Elaine's version, because it is so much better.
